The original thread's grown into a bit of a monster and I've lost track of who is and isn't coming so, if you're going to be there, please just say so on this thread. Also mention if you have a transport issue and we'll try and sort it out.

Cheers

Jon

If the doctor gives my car the all-clear tomorrow, then yes. It's outta my hands, unfortunately :-(

should be there, it's down to my bank statement and my conscience, and if a customer pays up or not, I think the lakes trip is gonna win though somehow, as it's gettin to my favourite time of year for the Lakes, anyone bringin' any climbin' gear?, got one spare seat in the van (might like to use the other one myself) drivin up from Stafford (J13, M6) probably Friday afternoon/evening, can change to suit if someone needs a lift

hello, I'm travelling from Euston and I arrive at windermere 9.15. A lift from widermere station would be appreciated however I can easily get a cab to Glenridding. Anybody who wants to share the cab is more than welcome.

(ps. my hotmail is inaccessible at the moment so if anybody wants to contact me to share a cab or offer me a lift from windermere use: egertonp@lycos.co.uk)

see you friday

I'm coming with a mate on friday afternoon sometime, can possibly lift someone from windemere station, assuming I can find the campsite first.

im coming from near reading - theres some room in the car.
21/09/2001 at 11:47
Thanks for that. I think I've got a fair idea now along with the e-mails. Weather looks tentatively pretty good, see you all later. I think lifts from the station should be under control.

Watch out for Grey Mk 2 Golf GiT with furry orange thing on the parcel shelf / strapped to the aerial!

Sad to say, after all that build up and the weather being nice and all, my bloody car decided it didn't like the "one piece" gearbox tailshaft and snapped the thing in half. Having spent all of friday trying to get a diffwerent gearbox in I found the propshaft wouldn't fit. Which was nice, glad you all enjoyed it though. Bastards

:-)

Great weekend - thanks everyone who came and thanks Michael Phish for the weather. I'm just back from the Harroagte Go Outdoors trade extravaganza and kicking things into shape, but will post a load more pics either later today or tomorrow plus some words (no....).

What did people get up to on the Sunday then and has anyone eaten their pudding yet?

Glad you's enjoyed it. I planned to be there but had a last minute(ish) electrical fault with the car.
Next time.
