Going to be based in Woking for the next 6 weeks, so Im thinking of taking in some stretches of the National Trail.  Will be mainly weekday evenings, althought I may fit in the odd Saturday walk.

I live in staines so can say there is some really suprisingly nice walking in Surrey more remote and rural then you would ever expect. I Haven't done it all but been on some circular walks taking in some of the trail. Newlands Corner ans St Marthas Hill and Albury Down near Guildford is a nice walk. Get an OS map and you can see many paths to creat your own walks. Cant remember off had if that is actually part of the NDW but close enough with acess to it. Not too far from Woking either. Also I've been down to Frensham forest and Kettlebury hill also very nice round there,  taking in some of the Greensands Way. I've also been on some of the Downs link Path.  Box Hill is another obvious but a little further away from woking as is Leith Hill in Dorking is really worth a visit. Devils punch bowl is another obvious. Go into your Local Millets and buy the Surrey and West Sussex path finder book there are some really nice walks in there best £10 I ever spent in millets.
