Evening , Lots of roundabouts here Skip and no one seens to use indicators leaving them .

Sunny this afternoon , crop too wet to combine today but should go tomorrow, perhaps at mid day after the dew is gone.

I don't know how I'm still getting broadband as I only paid for 3 days on saturday evening ( sure it was sat and not sunday) either way I got a text saying I only had an hour left last night .

Off to do supper .

Wall to wall sun this morning.  Off to Sennybridge area for a walk and then to Brecon to help a friend put up their tent for the Brecon jazz festival - cool man.

09/08/2012 at 09:48

Nice.

(Sorry, I watched too much Fast Show).

Looks like the weather will be nice for the Jazz Festival- a case of Hot Jazz? Hope it all goes well Bob

Morning- the usual East Coast high pressure problem here- cloudy and dull. Hopefully it'll burn off soon.

Nice photie AR. Hope you get to take the Combine out for a spin later.

On the subject of hot Jazz (which is delicious....)- Not the best tuning but fun none the less....

Morning. Muted sunshine here. In work where it feels like an oversize dental surgery; some blokes are drilling up the corridor with mega drills. I shall end up with a migraine

09/08/2012 at 14:33

LOL at the Bear A bit of a teddy bear's picnic (igmc)

You have my sympathy Kate, we've had a load of drilling recently- not on this floor, but above us and it sounded like it was happening on our floor. Blooming awful- we had to have word with them, and ask them to stop, when we had the exams earlier in the week.

Would these help?

Note to self, find smaller picture of ear plugs......

A lovely afternoon now. Sunny and breezy outside, just rather warm inside.

Invigilating tomorrow morning- 2 hours Ah well, maybe I can do some reading......

Never mind, time to go home very soon. TTFN.

Lovely evening up in the Beacons, clear and fairly warm, enough of a breeze to ensure that, with a bit of Smidgey encouragement, the midges stayed well away

Boing!

10/08/2012 at 02:04

Boing indeed, though i've no spring in my step.

Seems after 17 years of treatment on my hamstring with little joy i'm now informed by my latest physio consultant that there's bugger all wrong with it, totally intact and not the cause of my problems at all, so another round of MRI's it is, though she wants an image of my spine. ? but if it's my spine why is the fucking pain in my knee, i have no pain in my spine and never have.

It's my fucking knee, i felt it go pop.

Why wont they listen. ?

Morning. It's going to be very hot!

SHH because you're seeing the wrong person. How you get to see the right person is a mystery as I have the same problem with a shoulder.

Better go walk doggies before it gets too hot.

Morning

Olympic history made by British women yesterday, but here's the true measure of the achievement....

Nicola Adams now eighth hardest woman in Leeds

I can't help wondering if this explains why AT left Yorkshire to live in Scotland?

10/08/2012 at 09:45

Morning- warm here, and the cloud is burning off already

Good result this morning- I'm not need to invigilate, but, I should stay near my phone so they can call me if I'm needed.

SHH- I had the same problem when I tore Labral Cartilage in my hip- Physios were sure it came from my spine, because I also get sciatica occasionally. It took 9 months to get them to refer me for a scan- the sports physios were the biggest problem. It seems that the spine is the first port of call regardless. Good luck with the scan- can you get the knee done at the same time?

LOL at the Mash. I'm surprised she's only 8th hardest though. I though AT left Yorkshire for Scotland, because Scotland was better- obviously those Leeds girls are tough.  There are some very tough women in Glesca mind you, tougher than in Leeds

Hope you have a nice walk Beth. Looks like we're in for a good day
