I am just sending my kit off today, for final preparations. Going down thursday night, spending quite a while in the naafi! Anyone else doing this event this year? Let me know your team and I'll see you there friday. Good luck to everyone taking part, I'm repeating the 55 for a third time now.

My team are checking our kit to make sure we haven't missed anything, so we don't fail scrutineering.

yes i will be there providing i can get down,

however im a team manager/ trainer (a very young one at that) so you will be on the moor when im in the naffi sat night !

best of luck though

hopefully i wont be woken up this year by loudspeakers wanting all team managers to go for a evac briefing ! afterall i did struggle to get out of bed after a fair amount of navy rum !

Reading this thread has made me think and I reckon its 40 years since that I did the Ten Tors or is it 41, how time flys. Can't remember much about it either. We did the Yorkshire 3 Peaks and the Lyke Wake Walk in the same year.
