What would you do? Where would you go?

I am looking for recommendations! 

I suddenly have a 'free' weekend  Friday from the 2nd 'til Sunday the 4th March.  I am based in Edinburgh and more than happy to use BnB, YH, camp or wild camp.  What would OM do?  North or South (to the top of England)

 I don't fancy heading way up North as I finish at 3pm on Friday and would like to be settled at a sensible hour (plus I am planning on spending a fair while up there this summer)  

 Suggestions please......

I've done Ben Lawers and the southerly Munros ... but have never been to Southern Uplands (apart from leading / supervising DOE) or the Galloway hills. 

I see some map time in my future

Cairngorms, Laggan, Glen Coe, Ben Alder Group?

Would Kintail be too far?

The way the forecast is looking - I suspect anywhere will be grey, windy and wet.

Southern Highlands would minimise the travel.
