Ok, so i can stick the regular spammers on ignore, but i'd rather see a member who posts daily given moderator status to delete their crap and ban the offender quicker than your busy self can.

Maybe it's just me but any "air time" the spammers get really gets on my tits and i'd love to see their shite taken care of asap.

Discuss.

Good idea.

Not just me it irritates then.

I fuc*ing hate these parasites messing up the forum, i know Jon takes care of them eventually but i'd love to see them banished quicker so any return is deemed pointless.

It won't happen though.

Not wanting the position myself btw, i'm too prone to late night posts fueled by alcohol and ultra strong painkillers.

If asked to nominate someone i'd go for the very level headed Mole, or similarly CP.

I'd like that power, I'd delete any posts with emoticons on them.

Ok mate, bedtime for me anyway, walked a full 2 miles today unaided so very tired, nothing to do with alcohol or painkillers either, just having no day to day routine is enough.

Hic.

It's not really required, IMO, as there seems to be at least 2 or 3 folk "behind the scenes" that have the power to delete posts/posters. Either that or Jon's just really on the ball these days

Threads tend to disappear pretty quickly once they've been reported.

I agree with Kev, on the few occasions the forum gets bombarded with spam, it's soon dealt with.

Fair do's, maybe it's all these late nights i'm having that make it seem worse, as that's when it tends to be posted.
