Big Snow Next Week?

While I was waiting for a chinese yesterday I happened to flick through the daily mail to see that we should be expecting major snow next week from Canada which will bring the country to a halt. Anyone else spotted this? Jon, you'd better get better quickly!

Thanks for the thought Ben... It's probably much exagerated, but I reckon I should be okay by early next week. I might even have my voice back by then too.

Ah but is this BIG snow or the 1/2 centimetre of slush in London that has the allegedly National press foaming at the mouth about "Britain grinding to a halt". The two different things can be described the same way leading to heartbreak and weeping at the unfairness of it all. I think we should be told.

My brother lives in the Cheviots and usually gets blocked in with big snowfalls several times a year - he reckons it is only when it snows in the south east that it ever gets on the news.

That's so true generally about the weather Joy.
Countless times I've heard of a miserable weekend predicted, when you look closer there's pictures of a sun over the northern half of the country, and with the rain drops down south.
