Chicken Flavoured Asda Noodles

I've just ate a packet of 'Smart Price' Chicken noodles (nine pence) and they were very tasty indeed.
Bargain.
Also available in Curry and Prawn flavours, but not tried these yet.
Cheap backpacking food, or what?

Last time I was camping I bought some noodles to try out something different.

I thought they were very bland and tasteless, it was only after I'd finished I noticed this satchet of mushroom source in the bottom of the packet, doh!

There's a new type of (God forbid) eat-in-pot-noodle but it's NOT a Pot-noodle. You provide the mug and some boiled stream water. We tried them and they are in fact very tasty and not at all like the cardboard variety.

Sorry can't remember name but they are in Tesco near the P-N.

urgh pot-bl**dy-noodles..insult to real noodles.. the sharwoods egg noodles taste better dried than p-n's ever do cooked

Super noodles are my fave snack. Must try the Asda variety. Nice and cheap.

Couldn't think which thread to go off topic on, so this one will do.
How were the Dolomites Si? Where'd you go what'd you do?

They were fantastic, even better than I remembered.
We stayed at Arabba and did most of our routes on the Sella Group. Managed to do Possnecker, Col Rosa, Barbara (the really pituresque waterfall VF and not the lady of the same name staying with us!), managed an overnight in Piscadu Hut which was very entertaining considering my rubbish italian, played on the snow on Piz Boe sliding around on bin bags and the like, and our last route was Colac (Marmolada area) which was a long day and a good route to end the two weeks.

All in all I'm exhausted, and REALLY don't want to be at work!

Off home now to sulk some more.
