Is it just me or does anyone else find /suffer that if you go to a topic, when you want to go back to LP's or NP's you find the Web Page has expired, and have to refresh to get back to the Forum? I visit quite a few sites/forums and OM is, so far the only site I've found that this happens on. I just find it bl**dy annoying and can make me not bother with site!! h

I don't have a problem with this site but when on Geocaching.com it is a real pain. Mind you It also only happens when using Safari for windows as my browser. If I use IE8 or Firefox it isn't a problem.

What browser are you using?

I've not seen that issue with IE or Firefox, but then I always open threads in a new tab, rather than going to a page and then 'back'.

Of course, the Latest Posts page will have expired, since it will have changed to reflect the latest posts...

An issue with the browser or its settings, rather than OM, I think.

I find that the F5 button is a very useful thing to know about. It refreshes the page. Sometimes it comes up after pressing F5 that the page has expired but it gives the option to cancel or click retry which is what I do. This works sometimes for me as it results in the page coming up.

Not sure if this exactly applies to your situation but can't hurt to give it a try (if you haven't thought of it yourself already).

I find it REALLY annoying. The search function on here is pretty rubbish as it is, but also does it on routes. Strangely it doesn't always do it. I use IE8.

If I remember I open them in a new window, but is a bit of a faff!
