I'm going for a run now, before it starts flipping raining again. See ya.

It'll need to be a v short run if you're not going to get wet!

Just this minute stopped tipping it down here and the sun's out too. I'm just about to cycle back, so its bound to change.

Well the sun's shinning here, so I'm off on my bike.

Oh no it's not.

Must be Panto season already.

I was about to go for a run about an hour before Jon and just as I was putting my trainers on it started to piss it down. I was tempted just to run in the rain but it was bloody freezing.

That said it had been dry all day til 4 but I was just too lazy to get my arse in gear (or even out of bed!) before

Sunday - it rained all the way from Fort William via the Lakes to N Wales when i was driving for 12 hours .

Apparently emergency services were spotted handing out life rafts to drivers down the M6 !!

I can't remember Sunday

What's with this weather? Cycled into work this morning, not only was it raining, but my back brakes locked on. It was a bit like cycling up a waterfall!

We're going up to the Lakes this weekend and what does the weather look like? I'm just wondering if it's going to be that wet, might as well do some full on ghyll scrambling, so how do rock shoes cope underwater? Anyone tried?

Dunno about sub-aquatic rock boots, but with ghyll scrambling, I've always found that contrary to what you might expect, the water-washed rock is actually cleanest and grippiest, while the merely damp bits are greasy and horrid cos of the vegetative slime... Enjoy, but I think the weather's meant to improve a little by the weekend mate.

I don't care... it can rain here all it wants... I'm off to the Alps for 8 days. Mind you saying that the weather doesn't seem to have been too clever down there this year! Bloody global warming! More like global wetting!

There hasn't been much sun in Suffolk today at least not here in Woodbridge at the arse end of Ipswich.

I don't know what it has been like at home in St. Helens.

I don't care what it is like at weekend because I'm going walking in the Lake District anyway.

Done Jeannie, I've sent a different address. Hmm David, self self self self. Have a good time anyway. Any and I always thought at the arse end of Ipswich was Norwich! JOKE!
03/07/2002 at 18:12
Mike, I'm glad you said that and not me.
03/07/2002 at 19:41
I don't care what the weather is like this weekend as I will be watching Wimbledon. In my front room.
03/07/2002 at 19:42
