apologies if this has been posted already but as i cant find anything thought would post about hiker being killed yesterday on y Garn. bbc says fell through cornice with female who was rescued but the man fell 500 feet and didnt survive. thoughts to family in sad circumstances

according to the Ogwen Valley MRT, a male walker fell approx 500ft down Banana Gully when a cornice collapsed and triggered an avalanche.
