Looking at member's profiles, we appear to be the most-travelled and worldly-wise group of individuals ever assembled, and our web sites bear testimony to the wide-ranging nature of our travels on planet earth.

Indeed, there seems to be no corner of the globe that has not been visited at some point by an OUTDOORSmagic member, camera in hand, busily capturing the experience for the enlightenment of future generatiions, and possibly even visitors from far-off galaxies who wish to acquaint themselves with the diverse nature of our planet.

Accordingly, please post a link to your personal site, that we may all enjoy the fruits of your journeys, and see through your eyes the wonders you have unveiled.

Simon, from the looks of your site you have been everywhere!
My holiday snaps appear really crap all of a sudden.

Here's mine to add. It's still in it's very early stages of development and has a long way to go, and I suppose it isn't a "travel" site as such...

But there are some nice pictures of mountains in there along the way...

Let me know what you all think.

Great site Alex! Love your pictures, especially the winter Lakes ones. But you definitely need more Bob (and I don't mean Mr Conley).

Good stuff Alex, agree about Bob, maybe you should give him his own site - the adventures of Bob the sheep or summat.

working on my own site right now, doing most of the scripting by hand so its a slow process but hoping to go live in a couple of weeks

Good pics on both sites.

Difficult to beat this guys website though. He’s a regular on bikemagic

hope this link works

On the assumption that hyperlink doesn’t work, try cutting and pasting this:-

Its a bit odd to suggest my employers web site but in a couple of weeks there will be five of ten short web video films about my most recent trip darn sarf (next five at one per week) plus loads of other guff about the Cleanup on KGI. Aiming to go down there again this season too! season after there may well be room for other worthies.

Wow, Lloyd, that Tracksterman site is truly awesome - that guy should have his own TV show or something - really entertaining reading, and great pictures - very inspiring

Thanks for the kind words guys...

It's a mere trifle! And the Adventures of Bob is one section that is destined to grow...but it all takes time...

David, your link doesn't work.
24/05/2002 at 13:25
Simon, what do you do for a living to get chance to go to all these places?, cracking site!!!!!
24/05/2002 at 13:34
Dave, it's something of a mystery to me actually - I'm a partner in a small web design company in Southport, but my travels have been done on half a shoestring, many taking advantage of easyjet freebies and special promotions from Liverpool.

The Nepal trip was a charity fundraiser for Whizz Kidz children's charities, and the Africa trip was the prize in the Observer's Outdoor Photography comp for 2000, the winning pic coming from the Nepal trip. The rest is holiday stuff I have dug out of shoeboxes in the attic when I decided to build a monster, on the off-chance that Bill Gates will decide to make me an offer I can't refuse.

Microsoft's New Zealand web portal just recommended it to their subscribers, so the site has had nearly 2000 visitors from NZ in the last 24 hours - hopefully this will restore amicable Anglo-New Zealand diplomatic relations after Eliie Netjetter's Guardian drivel when she accused NZ of being boring.

But it's really just a scrapbook of snaps from quick visits to the places I've visited - I've seen some great travel sites that really do a good job - here's one:
