I come from further east but I must say that I find Llanelli people seem to be of an innately friendly and pleasant nature. They really are exceptional in that.

I'm looking forward to taking my wife and grand son to Cardiff in a few weeks to meet my late mother's family.

I'm half english and half welsh and have an english accent. I can honestly say I've never had much problem in either wales or scotland because of the way I speak and I've found that good manners have served me well in both countries over the years.

Yes Hayley, I agree, I used to LOVE refereeing down in Llanelli, .........................................................."Blind Bar steward" sounds so much friendlier in a west walian accent!
