At last the Scottish Polis have seen sense, and let him go his merry way.

Previously he was arrested within seconds every other time he was released.

Quite simple really, it's an offence to walk about in a public place baulik naked. Breach of the Peace, if memory serves me correct.

It aint the Polis's fault, they couldn't give a flyin' feck. Trust me, way better things to do.

Every-time a member of the Public makes a complaint, the Polis will act (exactly what happened here.) Don't act and you leave yourself open to a complaint and potential disciplinary action.

So he got stopped in Dunfermline, perfect. Means he goes to Saughton rather than Perth prison. When he gets released, he's in L&B Polis area, a wee bit nearer home and won't bother Fife Polis again.

I reckon that was a tactical arrest, but then, maybe I'm just guessing

I honestly think he is mentally ill. He has a family, two daughters, and I feel very sorry for them. Perhaps it would be be kindest to have him taken home and fitted with a tag, otherwise I fear he will rarely see the light of day.

Just seen in our local rag, he made it Warwickshire in December. Brrrr 'twas a bit cold then - got arrested again but charges dropped! Clicky

We have our own local naked rambler. I've seen him a few times on the lanes.

It doesn't bother me, I just wouldn't want to be walking past him with my daughters. I've always wondered if he kept an emergency loin cloth in his back pack.

Well... for three days out of the past two weeks, my route has taken me through areas frequented by nude sunbathers. For the record... I'm on a large semi-desert island... NOT in the UK! I wouldn't mind, but the bodywork I've seen is astoundingly gross. Average age of participants seems to be in excess of 70 years!

Well Paddy, I think that will give an idea to not recommended that area. There is nothing worse than old sagging people running around naked (well unless I've reached that age and nothing younger/finer can be scored anymore)
