OM, new site

What has gone wrong with OM?

 It not only takes ages to load at beginning, pages takes ages also. If I want to go back a page, to see yesterdays posts, I now have to minimise screen, put it back up and refresh!!!

 Is this only me? or or others finding this too?

 The screen 'look' has changed as well, is this the "new" version? If so bring back the old one.

 If it's the 'Beta' version, WHY have I got it? I didn't sign up for it!!

It's now gone live. If you're experiencing problems that others apparently aren't, then email the Techy guys or post in this thread which they're following.

It is a bit slow loading up tonight, but was fine earlier. I'm sure they'll sort that out when they can.

El Man. Yes, still no change.

Nor can I use the Forum button arrow to get to posts I want.

 Have to use 'Forum', then click on thread I want, minimise, normalise and F5 to get the screen to load. If I want to change page I have to click on that page, then do the same.

 Not like before, no 'back' button. All I want is to use like I did before. No messing about as above.

 I know new things can have 'bugs', but, I may be only one finding this problem, it's "annoying" for me......

 There are also 3 new things on task bar, not being 'techie', I couldn't use the old ones properly! Have no idea what/how I'm meant to use the new ones!!!

For got to add: I can't see the right side of screen as I used to. so can't see about competations, etc. as I did before.

The new things on the task bar are "paste from plain text", "paste from word" and "select all". Hovering the cursor over them tells you what they do, at least if it's working properly

Pasting directly from word did in the past lead to unwanted code and rubbish in posts, so that's probably why they've put that in.

Suggest you post your problems in the other thread I linked so that the Techy guys see it in the morning.

If I knew how I would. As I said I'm not a 'techie'. I couldn't work out how to use the 'old "quote" button' Never mind the new ones. I don't even know what they mean.

Well, you can just do a bog standard cut and paste...

but I may take pity on you.

Might be an idea for everyone to clear their old OM cookies etc righta bout na.

I've been using the new format for 3 days now and bar the hyperlink button not working i've not noticed much wrong, from my win 7 pc.

For me it's been a great improvement.  When I viewed the site at work (during lunch of course) the graphics were all over the place.  Now it looks fine.
