Right well my first one doesn't matter, but everyone's post, has to be about something different. Originality is smiled upon, humour is frowned upon.

I used to go out with a lass called Jelly Rasputin. What an incredible coincidence. Who'd have thought that she was a cat all along.

I have a zen garden in one of my rear areas called 'the garden of enlightenment'.

To follow this summer may come a bog garden.
10/01/2002 at 22:21
your rear area has a bog problem???

Sorry I couldn't resist making a comment at that one!

The rear garden has several different areas. There were 3 lawns at the back plus a rear terrace and a side terrace which is private enough to sunbathe nuddy.
There was too much piggin' grass.
The bottom lawn is now 2 thirds zen and 1 third veggies; and the right lawn will eventually be a wildlife pond with a bog extension.

On a clear day we can see pennine hills to the west and on every day except foggy & rainy ones we can see south to Emley Moor mast.
We're in a slightly elevated position.

"private enough to sunbathe nuddy."

Dan calm down ok...just calm down. Go for a cold shower or summat!

What makes a lawn a "Zen Lawn"?
