Please visit this site and pledge your support (nothing else necessary) for our efforts to protect antarctica!

http://www.missionantarctica.com/pledge.htm

For those interested The equipment (minitug, jcb's, palletts containers, food clothing, pontoon barges etc etc) is now on its way from the UK to Antarctica via the Falklands.
We have over 1000 tonnes of rubbish (scrap, waste oil and other chemicals) to remove from a long established base on King George Island in Antarctica.
Whats more you can read about it on Outdoors Magic! (so Jon said!) there is a major announcement in a couple of weeks and everything should kick off on a PR front from then onwards. So if you're fed up with the "pin the bomb on Bin Laden" that is going on in the Media, have a bit of good news read about something positive for a change!

BTW Neil
You will hate me to find out that there are now 2 fisheries blerks going! but only I am getting paid for it all!

I am still the Blagmeister general!

Clive
just pledged the pledge thing.
You might be interested, or appalled !, to hear that I am currently in negotiations which would secure a career move into an associated function.
i.e. I'm hoping for a transfer into EP.
Do a good job, then in a couple of years time somewhere else interesting might need cleaning up!
