A real pop-up this time, anyone else having this or is it just my machine?

Less obtrusive than the Commandos one tho.

Its a free search and destroy anti spyware

Its very good ---you'll be surprised how much 'junk ' you have got on your puter ( spyware and pop up ads etc) this will find it and let you delete it

Ok, well no Voda pop up. But still got the commando one!

And its getting annoying now.

And I can't install spybot or any popup killing stuff here.

Generally it's not Magicalia policy to run pop-ups, as has been said before, the Vodafone one was a mistake - I think - and I apologise to anyone who accidentally bought a mobile phone plan as a result...

i got a google toolbar for free about three weeks ago which includes a pop-up stopper. Since then it has stopped 618 popups in total.

I have been running a small on-line war against Spyware and Trojans for a day or so now. My AOL account got trojan'd AGAIN, bastard spanners...

Finally won late last night...

As a result of some software from here.

do you think that Orange woukld accept purchaing a vodafone phone via subliminal pop-up advertising as a reason for cancelling my contract with them for free?

Yeah, I reckon. They're reasonable people, always seemed nice enough when I used Orange instead of O2.
