I'm sure you will all have heard about the World Trade Centre, and the Pentagon, (and the one that was seemingly on it's way to the presidential holiday home).

I will ask you all to join me in offering our deepest condolences to the families of anyone who was injured, killed or even currentl un-contactable.

How can people who believe that they are human beings, possibly think about doing somthing that will kill maim, and injure so many people, and stop the entire world from continuing on it's normal progression.

I really can't believe it. And no warning at all.

Andrew
being a grizzled old type who has seen more than his fair share of blood and gore
I dont know
no one will
if you can understand you are one of them and better off dead
It gives me hope for humanity that we cant understand. Ive been to a few terrorist bomb sites picked up a few bodies and heard tough bootnecks give the odd quiet sob. I cant understand and thank god I cant and frankly Andrew thank god you cant.

It was a nice touch to play the Star-Spangled Banner, at the changing of the guards.

And a Europe-wide 3 minute silence. I've never heard of a Europe-wide day of mourning.

Including the French startlingly enough!

It says something about the "creatures" that did it, the thing that I always thought separated humans from animals was the fact that humans have a conscience, no being of any sort with a conscience could have done such a thing, so what were/are they?, and another question, the hijackers, by all accounts, were quite intelligent and mixed within the western world, how can someone with any amount of intelligence be so brainwashed to think that this is going to achieve anything?

why do they insist on making it a race-religion issue?
we want to eliminate terrorists for our own protection, typically they play the race card at every opportunity.

It must be said that it's the 'other side' who are making this a race/religion issue...they were the first to say it was a "Holy War" (if there can be such a thing.)

I dont want to get into the politics of it all or even try to justify what they did (there is no way to humanely justify what they did), but there is so much that Joe public does not get told (or chooses to ignore) that stems to the root of their reasoning. All I will say is that America is ignorant to think that they could do everything they have done in the last 50 years (to the world in general, not just muslims) and think that one day someone will act back. Sadly any grievance anybody had was invalidated by the actions of Sept 11th.
