Dawn on Arran

With Arran being one of my favourite places I enjoyed reading the article in February's TGO on walking up one of Arran's mountains to summit at dawn, but was slightly annoyed by the complete lack of names (which glen? which mountain?) meaning I couldn't follow what route had been taken!  Can anyone help?

I tried to work it out from the photos, but wasn't sure if I got it right.  The first photo looked like it was taken near the summit Goatfell on the east side of glen Rosa, looking west to the Beinn Tarsuinn region (although I may be completely wrong about this!).  I was more sure about the second photo, which I think was taken on the west side of glen Rosa looking east to Goatfell.  However as it would take several hours to walk along ridges from the first location to the second, both photos couldn't have been taken at dawn!

Has anyone worked out what route was taken in the article?
