I take it that's a NO then?

Just looking there, Cameron McNeishs last post on this forum seems to be in May 2007.

Chris Townsend posted on here today.

We do still have an informal and friendly relationship with TGO - indeed I was chatting with Cameron and ex-TGO dep ed' John Manning at a press event just the other day - however I'd be the first to admit that it's a bit sluggish at the moment, mainly because TGO is a small team concentrating on producing a magazine and we're a small team concentrating on producing a web site first and foremost. I wouldn't read anything weird and sinister into it

Glad to read your comment there, JD. I'd be surprised in this day and age if a magazine didn't have some sort of readers forum attached to it. Just like Trail (lights fuse and runs)

With the next issue, TGO will hit the big "three O" (first edition March 1978).....so looking forward to the bumper biggest ever issue and, of course, a special free gift for members of Outdoors Magic and the TGO forum.

be careful what you start hoping for Tubby T - the gift will be one months delay on a price increase

My god, I'm older than TGO by 3 years.

I think I look younger though, I'd say TGO looks about 38 (heavy drinking and smoking no doubt), whereas I only look 27.

Just spotted this thread. We've not been contributing to the OM forum because we've enough to do with producing a monthly magazine and trying to keep spam off our own forum , not to mention the podcasts, the videos, the blogs etc. etc. Plus, most important, who wants to be stuck in front of a computer screen when the hills in Scotland have been covered in snow and the sun has been shining from a blue sky - check our videos on Schiehallion and Ben Wyvis for the evidence? So in short, we're still good pals with OM but we simply can't do everything.
And on the subject of birthdays - I always thought it was the person whose birthday it was became the recipient of gifts. A nice bottle of Speyside malt will do me nicely Tubby - cheers!

True, but don't you still have to bring the cream cakes into work!

I've just read Cameron's post and I find it hard to believe that he was born in 1978

Ah, but he was born-again in 2006 as an Evangelight!!
