Have a look on the West Highland Way website where there is an accommodation list for Fort William. Cannot recommend any of them as I always camp but I seem to recall there are also a couple of B & B's on the road leading up Glen Nevis.

There's no complete list of accommodation around Fort William. The tourist office only keeps 'registered' addresses and on my last visit they drew a complete blank as all beds were taken. There are plenty of 'unregistered' B&Bs, but you have to do your own hoof-work and tramp around town looking for them. I got lucky last time, since I was just about to give up and go and find a bivvy for the night, when I found the last B&B with a bed available!

SYHA hostel in Glen Nevis is okay and very handy for Ben Nevis, well for the tourist route anyway. Would recommend the Carn Mor Dearg Arete route if you are okay with scrambling - might still be icy at Easter though. In Fort William Alan Kimbers place is a very nice place to stay:

Distillery Guest House

Glenlochy Guest House

A list of hostels in the Fort William area http://www.hostel-scotland.co.uk/results.asp?City=fort+william&Submit5=Search

Just booked into one for a weekend in June, we had bit of a job so I reckon you'll need to be lucky to find something for easter.

Good luck.

What about the Ben Nevis Inn?
Start of the trail.
And it's a pub :-)

Alternatively the Glencoe Hostel - short walk from the Clachaig.

PS anyone know how to put in a proper link?

By God I think he's got it!

But... the scenery didn't look that good last September when I was there in the lashing rain.

OK... so it didn't lash with rain all the time... there was snow on top of the Ben!

Cruiser I wouldn't worry too much about not getting accomodation in Fort Billy, there are hundreds of B&B's and guest houses in the town and just outside on the main roads.

Probably better off not staying in Fort William itself anyway - it's not the most attractive town in the world! Glen Nevis or Glencoe (if you have a car) would be better options. There is a decent hostel at Tulloch station as well which would also make a good base: http://www.stationlodge.co.uk/

i'll await a reply from them

This is another place that's worth looking at:

http://www.inchreecentre.co.uk/

It's on the road inbetween Fort William and Glen Coe. The rooms and kitchen are good and there's a pub right across the yard. You do need a car to get anywhere decent though.

I would also recommend the Inchree Centre having stayed in both their chalets and bunkhouse although as Jules says you really do need a car.
