i WALKED THE VIKOS GORGE in 1993 from monohdenderi to the papingo villages and it is areally fab walk with great scenary.the path down zig zags fairly comfortable but once in the gorge its mainly red paint blobs crossing loads of boulders so its more a scramble than a walk!I went mid april and the weather was lovely with snow on the tops.back then there wasnt many supplies available from monohdenderi and next to no water in the gorge.cant remember how long it took but the path is easier near the end and i remember being knackered by the end!the aoos valley and the fantastic monastries at meteroe are definete musts while in the area

Hi there,

yes, of course I have been there, I am from Papigo and I would suggest to come and see it by yourself.

Skiing, rafting and many other outdoor activities you can have there. Myself I am a guide around Papigo, Drakolimni, and Vigos Gorge

Looking forward for your reply

Georgios
