I used Jet 2 recently, Edinburgh to Malaga and thought they did pretty well for a so called cheap airline. Allocated seating and a reasonable amount of space to. The couple next to me were on a package so got a meal but surprisingly tea and coffee wasn't included. They paid over £2 for a cup of tea.
