I'm planning to walk again a part of the E2 in the UK with my family consisting of me, wife and 2 small kids. Looking for possible places to pitch our tent. Currently I'm studying the section between Burrough Graan via Balsham (on the Icknield Way Path) to Cambridge (Roman road). typically with small kids we only hike about 6-8 miles a day. We like to hike with all gear so we need possible pitches close to each other.
When that's not possible we work something out with car and a bike. But preferably we just hike from pitch-site to pitch-site.
Possible pitches I already found are Cherry Hinton CCS and cambridge C&CCS. Both in Cambridge or next to it. Does anyone know something in between?
