Yes. All part of haunted Dartmoor.

I was over that area the weekend before  - shadowing one of our Ten Tors groups from Trowlesworthy Tor to Pupers Hill.

Got there 5 minutes before them - none of em had spotted me (I was behind them for 90% of the 6.5miles)

I hope they hadn't descended into Lord of the Flies type mayhem with you as the beast.

Mole - What route did you take?

Kiers

I went to Gt. Trowlesworthy from starting near Gutter Tor via Hen Tor, then over to Pupers via the trig point N of Shell Top/Yealm Head/Erme Pound/Crossways/Avon Clapper/Huntingdon Warren Farm.  The group I was following took a line a little south of that till Crossways, then went Clapper bridge To Pupers via Huntingdon Cross - hence I cut them off with a direct last leg.

After Pupers they went Ryders/Combestone,/Hexworthy/Princetown, whilst I only went to Lud Gate and got a lift to Princetown via checkpointing them again  at Hexworthy.

I had the easy 10mile morning as that Group had got to Trowlesworthy via Hartor tors and south hessary (starting at Black tor where we'd camped  - so a 22+ mile second day for them - they'd started at Okehampton Camp  - 25 miles the day before...)

Cor blimey, that's a long one. I haven't been further west than Ditsworthy, and I also haven't combined the north and south of the moor into a single walk. Looking forward to some drier and warmer nights, with maybe a couple of multi days trips. Would be a chance to do so.
