Just had a great day walking in the Esk Valley on Friday. Another first for me. We didn't make it to the summit of Scafell, well some of the party did but not all, but that didn't matter so much. The best bit was NO RAIN
especially after all thats fallen from the sky just recently. A bit squelchy underfoot at times but nothing a good pair of boots couldn't handle
