The May Day Bank Holiday weekend means that it is the Wray Village Scarecrow weekend and an opportunity for us to link a short walk from Hornby to visit. The weather forecast was for a bright start to the day but soon becoming wet. With this in mind we were parked up at Hornby and walking just before 9am. This would also mean that Wray village would still be fairly quiet when we arrived there.
