Hi,

Sounds like you and the lads had a great time. All that bonding away from there mums!

Just wondering, are the tents TN Laser Comp 1's? As that's what I use when I'm on my own. I've been thinking about taking my had away, he's only 4 but already loves the outdoors.

My only worrie is, that as something that I love and what him to love it to. And if he hates wild camping I'll be gutted. But then again he might love it, which will mean that I'll never get away on my own.

Back in the day, at the right old age of 15. I thought nothing of hitch hiking to north wales for the weekend with a fiver to my name. Which is'nt to bad as I lived in Glasgow. A the days when kids were safe.

Hi Gary

The lighter tent is a TN Laser Comp 2 & the Darker one is a Wild Country Zephros 2.

They are slightly larger than the single birth options; ok to share with a youngster but I  would not fancy sharing with an adult.

My lad enjoyed the trip immensley but it has not stopped me getting away on my own; I was over Dartmoor a fortnight ago but he did not fancy camping without  Jake (the other lad).
