Walk Date: 10th April 2011
Walk Area: Lake District
It's a Sunday, the first weekend of the Easter Holidays and an absolutely cracking day. Being stuck in the central Lakes traffic is not my idea of fun and in past days we would have been heading towards Shap but nowadays something easier is needed. My recent problem with "wind" is now just a rumbly stomach so I was confident of doing a little bit more today. Mention the name Yewbarrow to a Lakeland walker and immediately thoughts are of Wasdale, the Great Door and Stirrup Crag. This Yewbarrow however holds nothing more dramatic than a view across to Chapel Head Scar on Whitbarrow.
Pictures and a full route description are now avaiable to view for those wishing to do so.
Regards,
Dave
