A rather grey and drizzly morning gave way to brighter weather around midday so we set off for this walk starting at the Conder Green picnic site just south of Lancaster.
We first followed the old railway line to Glasson Dock for a look around before walking past the marina to follow the Glasson Branch of the Lancaster Canal to where it joins the main canal near Galgate. We followed the canal through Galgate before leaving it to take field paths back to Conder Green and the café.
