This was a new place to visit for us today. I had been browsing the net the previous night and came across it. Located adjacent to J31 of the M6 it is an easy place to find and yet the motorway doesn't seem to have any effect on the place.
After a wander around and a walk along a section of the River Ribble we had time to spare so made our return through the Trough of Bowland with a stop at Dunsop Bridge which lays claim to being the geographical centre of Great Britain....don't know about that but Puddleducks do grand scones!
