After a spell of weary weather we awoke this morning to a beautiful sunny morning. I still feel too chesty to do any sort of climbing but as we left home our intention was to go to the Lake District for a short walk around Tarn Hows or similar. However as we drove along the promenade at Morecambe we could not see anything of Lakeland across the bay and the weather forecast on Radio Cumbria was for a mainly cloudy and dull day. This made us change plans and we decided on this walk which is fairly local. However by the time we reached Glasson Dock however it had clouded over to leave us with a very dull day which stayed that way until we were driving back home when the blue skies and sun returned.
Pictures from our walk are now available to view on the website for those wishing to do so.
Regards,
Dave
