From Traffic Scotland website:

CONSTRUCTION OF NEW ROUNDABOUT ON A82 APPROXIMATELY 500M WEST OF BARLOAN TOLL

Significant traffic disruption is expected on the A82, by Dumbarton, next to the Barloan Toll, between 09.30am on Friday 7 March 2008 until 06.00am on Monday 10 March 2008. Traffic will be contra flowed in single lanes on the north carriageway to allow construction of the southern section of the new Lomondgate roundabout.

It is anticipated that delays of up to two hours can be expected during the evening rush hour and motorists are advised to seek other routes / modes of transport or stagger their normal peak hour travel to avoid this delay. Motorists who seek an alternative route should be aware that considerable delays can also be expected in Dumbarton town itself.

The northern section of the Lomondgate roundabout will be constructed from 09.30am on Friday 14 March 2008 until 06.00am on Monday 17 March 2008 and similar delays can be expected.

A temporary reduced speed limit of 30mph will be in force during the works for the safety of motorists and roadworkers.
