a continuation for people not wanting an irrelevant slanging match...

Dids, I often find an osteopath has been helpful with joint issues that conventional medicine just doesn't really deal well with.  In fact I was getting some interesting sounds coming out of my neck just yesterday at a session to relieve recent problems of not being able to look over my shoulder...  Perhaps worth a try: main downside is it tends to be quite expensive, but what price comfort, let alone being able to go on a proper walk?

Off at a tangent, don't forget there's outdoor fun to be had that doesn't use your legs much.  Might be a good time to try a spot of paddling, for example.

Pete.

Thanks for the new thread Pete my other did get slightly hijacked to say the least .

from what i can gather from what physio said it was a Bursitus and nerve inpingment, the first one is nasty as i had it in my elbow the other year and had to be hospitalised for 4 days, just dont think its the one due to infection more wear and tear.

imalso gathering from what she says its also down to the muscles around the groin not being as strong as they have been so im going to get fitter doing low level walks from now on until its mended.
.

I will try the Osteopath possible if the blonde female cannot fix me must let her try first ...

You could try a midwife Dids, they can give you exercises to strenghten groin muscles

Ask most women who have given birth!

Sorry to hear of your woes. I can sympathise. I've just had surgery on my right hand and cannot even fasten my boot laces!! However, I know it's only a temporary hitch, I'll be back to normal in a few weeks. It must be depressing not knowing when you'll be right again.
I suggest that you get all the jobs you normally ignore/avoid (admin,DIY,etc.), done and out of the way. That way when you are well enough to get out, you'll have accrued lots of 'brownie points' and Mrs Dids cannot say 'no' to lots and lots of trips.
