Has anyone camped here? what's it like? I've seen some pictures on the net of people taking pictures at dusk over a lake saying it was taken there and it looks simply stunning! I may have to venture down!
Cwellyn is a nice campsite with recently opened enlarged toilet and showering faciities. We've stayed there twice previously. The views are indeed stunning on good days though if camped right beside the lake it can get a bit midgey at times. The pub is walking distance and serves some cracking beer too

Perfect views, by a lake with a pub in walking distance, what more could anyone actually want. *shuffles away to recruit people for this trip* Thanks Genaa!!
Stayed here a couple of times last year. It has gone a little bit more up market with the new washing & toilet block. Campfires allowed. The pub is about 15 mins walk along the lane with no footpath so take care after dark!. I would go again
