Short answer... no!

Longer explanation... I keep being invited to join Facebook... and I keep asking what it's all about... but no-one's been able to explain it to me. So... in a few words... what's the big attraction? So far, all that happens when I ask is that people's eyes go all dewy and their faces light up with a peculiar half-smile... but their mouths aren't able to articulate sufficient words to actually tell me why Facebook is such a big deal. On the other hand, a friend of mine who isn't on Facebook tells me to keep well away from it.

So... information please...
