Taking place on the 9th September 2012 with a choice of 4.5, 13 or 18 mile walks.
The classic slate countryside surrounding Lake Windermere is the setting for the inaugural Jane Tomlinson’s Walk For All Lake District Walking Festival. The festival will include a programme of walking events, incorporating three exciting and challenging routes.
The thriving tourist destination of Bowness on Windermere will host the start for all three events. Bowness provides an array of facilities for visitors and walkers, with an abundance of cosy cafes, welcoming pubs and restaurants. There is also plenty of accommodation in the town and surrounding areas.
