Hi all. Just wondered if the parking field at Kentmere is open at the moment. It's just that I don't fancy setting off before 8am tomorrow to get a park in the village.

Sorry, don't know about the field, but I usually get a spot around NY 465050 (and you may have to open the gate) or sometimes there's space for about 3 cars about half a mile before that. I still wouldn't it leave too late though, I don't think I've ever arrived after 9:30. Might not be too bad this time of year though.

Can anyone update this thread please? Interested in parking in Kentmere and whether that farmers field is available? (apparently the one before the church has an open gate and a loyalty box)

For info: the farmers field was available, the left turn immediately before the bridge - think only at busy times though, holds about 8 cars £3 day. When i returned the next day, a new sign was up 'not a car park today'
