Good lord, the man has only just finished guiding Sir Ranulph up the Eiger. Does he never rest?

Isn,t it more a case of having the money to summit 4 times as opposed to the ability?

No doubt he has the ability, if anything its wasted on everest. Having the money not being an issue because he was guiding it.

In Kenton's case it's ability. He doesn't just guide; he's one of our most outstanding mountaineers with several first ascents to his name.
He's supposed to be doing another first ascent on Kalanka North Face this year with Nick Bullock. If he does that along with everything else he's done recebtly he'll be truly amazing in my book.
