Hello,
Having just moved jobs to one with less holiday, I'm a bit stretched to take a whole week off to do an ML (Summer) course.

Does anyone know of any courses that are run over several weekends as this ould be much easier to fit in?

Training or assessment?

It might cost considerably more but you might want to try speaking with a few independent mountain guides, they may be able to tailor something for you (but at a cost). Try Phill George for starters http://www.phillgeorge.co.uk/

Just had a look at the MTLB website and found a list of providers who do split weekend training courses for the Summer ML.

I've done the split ML course over 2 weekends.

I would recommend it becuase like me if you are a light sleeper in a bunkhouse, only 3 nights without sleep is better than a whole week!

In fact on the 2nd night of the first weekend this guy was snoring so bad I just got up and went outside and put my tent up, sorted!

Bremex run both training and assessment courses split over weekends. The training runs over four weekends, and the assessment runs over two long-weekends (fri, sat, sun). Bremex also runs weekend ML refresher courses. All the courses are run on a not for profit basis, although one disadvantage of weekend courses is that you end up spending more on travel.
Anyone coming along might also have the dubious pleasure of meeting me.
