Just started climbing there this week and intend to be there most tuesday/wednesday/weekend nights, up to about level 5 ish. So if anyone local wants to show me up, do feel free.

Whew! With that schedule you'll be on the E6's in no time! Good luck.

It's a two-hour drive for me, so not much hope I'm afraid. One thing, watch your tendons if you go on successive days - connective tissue gets stronger more slowly than muscle and needs time to revover between sessions. Walls tend to be constructed with small holds to build finger strength which is hard going at first and damaged tendons are a b*stard. Take ages to heal.

Drop me a line if you're up in the Peak and if Joan's right you can take me up some classic E6 death routes...

Years of riding heavy bikes with bad brakes has endowed me with deathlike grip in the finger department, a total absence of decent technique is my main stumbling block, managed a 5b last night though, typing today is a bit of a bugger, but I'll get there.

I'll be in the peak again on monday/tuesday of next week, probably with the bike, if you fancy some proper slacking jon.
