I want to walk and camp around Bleaklow but i do not drive so have been looking at transport up snake pass or the A628 with no luck is the something  I've missed. i regularly catch the train up to Edale and love going up Kinder but need to find more out of the way.

Thanks

Train to Glossop then walk up Doctor's Gate or cut left towards Yellowslacks - both straight up onto the top of Bleaklow, from there you can drop down towards Ladybower or cut over towards Kinder via the Pennine Way then turn left at Mill Hill and drop down the Snake Path parallel to the A57. All good stuff.

You could always get the train back from Bamford by the way. Or I guess, get the train out there in the first place. But from Glossop it's only a couple of hours onto the top of Bleaklow.

There is a bus service on sunday (and possibly bank hols) from Glossop. As Jon said, easy walk up to Bleaklow from Glossop but I'm sure a cab for the short road journey won't break the bank if you rather be dropped on top.
