Hi Guys,

Do any of you lovely people have any suggestions for a good circular rote around the Rhinogs that would take 2 to 3 days walking and wildcamping? Also looking for parking advice as will be away from car fo a few days and dont want to come back to broken windows or worse.

 Thanks

Matt

This is a pleasant bimble, starting, finishing and leaving the car at the Cwm Bychan campsite.

Thanks! Does the camp site allow parking without camping then? We want to camp out in the range for a couple of nights.

Yes. Just find the old guy from the farm and let him know your plans.

Looking at your route, what is the decent from Rhinog Fawr like? We will have heavy packs, is it doable? Matt

It's rocky and rough but perfectly doable with a bit of care.

The route was plotted from memory after the trip, BTW, so is not to be relied upon for navigation.

Suggest parking your car at Barmouth , getting the train to the north end and walking back to Barmouth. Did it as a long one day walk. Make a great 2 to 3 day walk.
