Where is your favourite mountain swim?
Some thoughts -
Waterfall and circular pool halfway down north side of Ben More, Mull
A couple of hidden pools in the Moelwyns
Llyn Hwyel in the Rhinogs - diving in from the rocks on the north side which drop sheer into the water
Leaping into any of the pools in Glen Etive

swimming naked at sunrise to the rock in the middle(ish !) of Stickle Tarn,Below Pavey Ark after walking up the Ghyll @ 03 a.m. and then sitting on the rock watching it get light.
yes it was summer but it was bl**dy cold, but well worth it.

i might even do it again this year.......

As you head west through Garve and turn North for Ullapool there's a wonderful pool under the old bridge complete with glass smooth stone chute from a higher level. Beware, halfway along the pool is an unseen rounded rock just below the surface - the water is peaty dark - first time I bumped into it I nearly Cr**%"d myself - thought it was a monster.

Always warm in summer.
