The Lady Falls Brecon - Wild Camp

I have just got back from the Brecon Beacons where we camped at a local farm, which was brilliant, but on a walk to the 4 southern most waterfalls we came to the Lady falls and notice a couple of tents on the path to the top of the falls. no body seemed bothered and were all chatting to the people who stayed there. there was allso the remnants of a fire at the top of the falls.

I am just wondering if this is a popular place to wild camp and see if anyone has ever done it or been moved on from there.

might go back and give it ago if all seems good.

The waterfalls are popular places to camp, but it's hardly wildcamping which has a 'leave no trace' philosophy. At both Ystradfellte and the Caerfanell valley near Talybont irresponsible campers build fireplaces, leave empty cans of beer and other rubbish around and generally trash the place.

I'd not wildcamp round there, but go a lot further away from Pontneddfechan.

Awsome, thanks, I'm going to do my first 'wildcamp' in dartmoor end of September which I think may be a better option as I prefer the idea of walking up with no one around a making it appear like I was never there. SO thanks for the info.
