Alpkit's PipeDream was the original high-spec, lightweight, down sleeping bag for the budget-aware internet generation when it first arrived a few years back, since when it's won a reputation for being rather good and also popular enough that it's not always been readily available.
The good news is that a new batch of improved 2012 bags complete with Alpkit's own lightweight shell fabric and high-spec down is due to arrive some time this month - February 2012 if you're arriving in a virtual tardis - and here's AlpNick with a quick video run through of the bag's features and some ideas for storing and packing it into the bargain.
