MAGNUM version of excellent Ho-Tec shoe in distinctive colours with 10% of the price going to the charity.
MAGNUM, effectively the military arm of Hi-Tec has launched a special edition Help For Heroes (H4H) trail-running shoe with 10% of the sale price going to the excellent charity.
The new V-Lite Intrepid Hpi H4H shoe is effectively a development of the impressive Hi-Tec V-Lite Infinity HPi, which we've been using for over a year now. It makes a good, all-round, lightweight trail runner for anything short of full-on fell terrain and also has enough underfoot cushioning to take the odd road section in its stride. Features include a Vibram sole unit and Hi-Tec's ion-mask technology which minimises water uptake and speeds up drying.
The obvious difference is that the MAGNUM version of the shoe comes in the distinctive H4H colour scheme – blue for the Navy, red for the Army and sky blue for the RAF – and also features the official H4H medal logo.
It's not a cheap shoe at a suggested retail price of £100, but 10% of that price goes to the charity and, like we said, it's a very competent bit of kit with the sort of performance you'd expect from a top notch brand, so if you're after a trail-running shoe and want to help a good cause at the same time, look no further.
