Osprey's Tablet-Friendly Packs On Video Scoop!

New Osprey Portal gives instant access to an iPad or similar - see it on video.

Take a look at this - it's a launch video for the new Osprey Portal range of urban packs due out this autumn. The packs have a rapid-access tablet pocket so you can simply undo a flap and tippy tap away on your iPad instantly, which is a nice idea.

Ok, so the launch is unashamedly urban commuter flavoured, but look a bit further into the future and you can imagine proper outdoors packs with a handy, weatherproof tablet pocket allowing you or your partner in buddy mode, to navigate on the hill using a GPS-enabled tablet... which would be kind of cool. The future, now-ish? We reckon so.

Why does she buy a newspaper though? Hmmm... who said print was dead?
