We're huge fans of the excellent Tentipi Nordic tipis - to the point where we keep borrowing them shamelessly for events - and now you can augment the original, heavy duty, fast-pitching tents with an optional Tentipi porch for extra storage space and added wow factor.
What's so great about Tentipi? They're made from a heavy duty canvas-type poly-cotton mix, they go up in a matter of three minutes - you just peg out a serious of pegs using a template, anchor the tent, then add a single central pole and guys and you're done.
And despite the glamping good looks, they're deceptively tough and weather resistant and reassuringly stable and they also manage to stay cool and airy in hot weather. Oh, and you can even take advantage of the central vent to run an open fire or stove with chimney in the centre of the tent.
What else? Throw in a proper feel good vibe, distinctive looks that have people grinning and wandering over to ask where they can get one and now, additional storage too.
The porch is available to fit the 4-8 and 11-14 Tentipi models and retails for £375 - yes, Tentipi stuff isn't cheap, but it is very, very nice.
